First of all thanks to Suseelan Hari for introducing me to the BIF community and inspiring me to write a blog. I am not a blogger, so please provide your valuable comments after reading it. Don’t stop here, kindly go ahead and read about me.

Who am I?
My name is Thanga Prakash, meaning is Thanga means Gold and Prakash means glow. My friends and family call me as Thanga, Gold Prakash, Thangam, TP. I am from a small town called Tiruchengode, in Tamil Nadu, India. 
About my native:
My native Tiruchengode is well known for Ardhanareeswarar hill temple (one of the 64 manifestations of Lord Shiva, representing the unity of Shiva and Parvati). Below is the pic of this temple.
Apart from temple it has the pride of having the country's first Gandhi Ashram a tribute to our nation's great leader Mahatma Gandhi.
It can be called "The Borewell Hub of India" as it manufactures the largest number of Borewell Vehicles operated in India.
About me:
My interests are Cricket, Dancing, spending time friends. As you can guess from my interests, yes I am a die hard fan of Sachin Tendulkar and in terms of dance, not a professional dancer. 
Whenever I find leisure time, I watch movies and listen to songs, mostly Academy Award winner, A.R.Rahman songs.

I like to be friends with people from different culture and geography.
People say that I have a best smile, my fact about smile is “It is not contagious, a smile can make (m)any things happen in this world”

Educational life:
I have done schooling in my hometown and moved to a very big city on the Coromandel Coast off the Bay of Bengal, which has the world’s second longest beach (Chennai) for pursuing my Bachelor degree in Petroleum engineering, in Anna University which has been ranked 9th best University in India.
I guess you would be wondering by now,
what I am doing in IT after pursuing degree in Petroleum engineering. Actually my aim was to become a Cardiologist, because of some situations I ended up in engineering and then in IT and fortunately into SAP.
I was on Cloud nine on May 2011, which was the day I got an opportunity to join in a corporation referred to as BIG BLUE which is IBM. I joined as a Graduate Hire, trained in SAP – ABAP Application Developer. I have a work experience of 2.5 years so far.
I am so happy to be a part of SCN community and big thanks to the founders of the community, this is place where I learned ABAP and still learning a lot more new things.
